I attended the marine barracks parade and enjoyed it. Gates open at 7pm and close at 8pm. There is no dress code. The parade actually starts around 8:45 and ends around 10ish pm. In the meantime they will have marines walking around and interacting or a band playing. You can bring in water but not food. So the seating is divided into two sides between the official party. Gates 2 is on the left and gate 10 is on the right. The best seats are closest to the viewing party. So gate 6 might be the best. But you wanna come early for good seats as people fill in. If you naturally look left use gate 10 and naturally look right use gate 2.While it's split evenly: in my opinion I felt gate 2 4 had mor...

I took my family to Marine Parade on a Friday night, and it was a fantastic choice! The setting is stunning, and the Marine bands are incredibly talented. I was particularly impressed by the Silent Drill Platoon – they were amazing! My four children will cherish these memories for the rest of their lives. With all the history, pageantry, and sense of patriotism, I highly recommend paying a visit!

Wonderful place. Very patriotic experience. One of the best experiences of the city. If you are looking to revive the American military spirit, visit this place. Parking is easy to navigate, and all the Marines are willing to assist if needed. Outdoor seating, so you may want to pack an umbrella for rain or sun. The parade starts at sundown and last about an hour and a half.

Attended a retirement party for my boot camp buddy who retired after 27 years in the Corps. Was so great to see him again, run into another fellow Marine I served with my there too. I even got to meet the Commandant General Berger. It was such a pleasure to meet him and be amongst fellow Marines again. To tour this sacred ground was a dream come true.

We came to Friday night parade leading up to memorial day. Every marine we interacted with was friendly, hospitable, and professional. The parade itself was fantastic. Would highly recommend taking the time and effort to go during the summer months.

This is a fantastic experience for any European tourist. The soldiers are exceptional musicians! The whole parade was captivating to watch. It's an invaluable experience, and best of all, it's free!

I entered the Marine Corps in 1965. My first duty station was Washington DC. I had the privilege of being a greeter at the Friday Night performances. It was wonderful! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
