our first visit. we arrived on a Saturday night at 7:45 a.m. we were very warm and sat. they gave us a basket of garlic bread bags. we decided to start the roasted mozarella, which comes with meat sauce, we also have one with sauce on the side, they were delicious. we also ordered the seafood cioppino, auberginenparmesan and huhn alfredo. all meals came with minenstrone suppe and green salad with creamy Italian dressing. I was not a fan of the aubergine, it was too dirty. the fatuccine sauce had almost a gritty texture. as the sose had broken, the waitress explained that it was more than ordinary cheese, so that it can have the look of clumpy. we will definitely be back for the pizza and des...
This Italian restaurant comes highly recommended to me by a friend who is an East Coast Italian, which is why we ate here today. The food is fabulous! Minestrone soup and salad are served family style along with heavenly light garlic bread rolls. The rolls are so light but savory that I ate nearly a whole basket of them myself. My linguine with clams is the best I have had in MANY years. The food here is truly Italian, which means not overly rich as with much American Italian cuisine. The staff here are friendly and attentive. If I lived around here, this would have to be one of my regular stops. Highly, highly recommended.
one of the best Italian places I've ever been. lasagna is amazing, great suppe and salat. portions are large and warm family atmosphere. the server could not be better and the prices are what they would pay for olive garden, which is not somewhere in their league. if they wish delicious, delicious foods that like them were tasted, were invited to an Italian family home where they could really cook, this is unbeatable. the heart hearts with pasta is my favorite along with the lasagne . they will find nothing better, time. luch is a real snoop and a great break for chain places.
My grandmother was Sicilian, so I have a love for Italian food. My 90-year-old father and I decided to stop by Marino's after leaving Long Beach. My dad ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce, while I opted for the chicken Marsala. Both dishes were incredibly delicious. My father, who grew up with homemade Italian cuisine, said it was the best sauce he had tasted in a long time. The soup was flavorful, the salad was refreshing, and the service was excellent. My friends and I had a great time at this restaurant and I wanted to share our experience. If you're fortunate enough to have Jose and Sean as your servers, you're in for a treat. They were extremely helpful in explaining the menu and you could tell they were passionate about food. They were also very friendly and pleasant. We will definitely be coming back! Jose and Sean were fantastic, and the food was delicious. They made my best friend's birthday even more special!
It has been years since my last visit, and I was very disappointed. The sauce was not good, had a strange aftertaste, and was thick, as if it was old. The salad, however, was tasty. The interior of the restaurant could use some upgrades. Apologies for the negative review.
I ordered the shrimp sampling and was disappointed to find that it lacked any flavor. It tasted like plain water with no hint of garlic. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was spacious.
