This place has gone super downhill since I remember it. I have lived in Clifton my whole life and have frequented this establishment many many times. The last time I went I went with a buddy. We sat at the bar to have a few drinks and some dinner. The service was so awful that we ended up having one drink. No one ever came over to check on us we had an order of mussels to start expecting to order dinners after but after 30 minutes of waiting to be checked on we just decided there is no way we could stay here. I must mention we were the only two people there and there were five staff members sitting in a booth talking with each other playing with their phones. Today I went in for it to go ord...
This is our “go to” we’ve NEVER had a bad meal here. The mussels appetizer is fantastic! So tender!! I’ve gone to upscale restaurants and they’re rubbery as heck, here I can tell you never once were they! Every meal whether it’s the chicken with broccoli rabe (organic chicken by the way) sandwich on rustic bread or the shrimp francese you will always be satisfied! The prices are extremely reasonable which is a godsend now.
Good food. Had the meatballs and pizza for dinner. Tried a companions lasagna and another's Broccoli Bolognese and both were good dishes. The small is pretty darn big. The meatballs are about the size of a lacrosse ball. Service was a little slower than expected but we did come in later around 8 and it did give us time to catch up with the group so it was all good. Definitely will come back and try other dishes.
This restaurant is not like it used to be, I recall a time the food was excellent. But this day of age, the pasta was lousy and portion controlled I ordered tortellini with Alfredo it was in a bowl and it was watery. But they still charged $17.99 for little pieces of chicken and I left still hungry. If you can I would avoid this place for awhile. I know I won't be back food was terrible.

I was in the mood for a good sandwich and tried this spot. I called in my order of the blackened chicken sandwich. When I arrived I parked in a lot nearby. I walked in and gave the lady my name and she grabbed my food. I paid and left. When I dug in the sandwich was really good. It was seasoned to perfection! I enjoyed it and had a good experience.
I am a huge fan of their blue cheese and beet salad, so I chose to order it for delivery via Grubhub. Unfortunately, I discovered a large piece of dark, curly hair in my salad. I was incredibly disgusted and upset, leading me to throw the whole order away. Now, I don’t think I can bring myself to order from here again.
Had lunch with some friends of ours and everything was delicious. The mussels were amazing. Very clean and the sauce was perfect. White pizza with spinach was even better than expected. Everyone left feeling full and happy.
It was the Garlic Bread Parm for me !!! Quality Italian food ..Great Taste , caught me by surprise definitely recommend

We always get our pizza from Mario's. Whether we eat in or take out, it's the best in the area!
Meat Lasagna was great and I absolutely love, love your pizza. Staff is so kind and friendly.
