I would go back because the atmosphere and the food were great. Service was okay but oddly unfriendly, to the point where it seems like they put some effort into letting you know that they aren't thrilled with the job and they are having no fun at all. Message received. But the food was served and we enjoyed it immensely. We had the combo appetizer, all of which was delicious and served with warm bread. We had the branzino fillet (that did have a lot of bones) and lamb kebab. Both came with rice and the branzino came with a large side salad. We had baklava for dessert, which was excellent. The dining room is beautiful and romantic.
I genuinely enjoy the food at this restaurant. It consistently tastes fresh and the $18 lunch special offers generous portions. The meal includes a satisfying salad or soup, warm bread fresh from the oven, a choice of appetizer (I particularly love the eggplant and yogurt dishes), and expertly prepared entrees. Be sure not to miss the incredibly strong Turkish coffee (or tea) to finish off your meal! Food: 5/5
Cozy place and great service! I thought it was a bit pricy at first glance, but the portions are larger than expected. We were three and ordered a few appetizers and couldn’t finish them. Everything was very tasty and delicious! We also spent quite some time in there talking while having teas and sweets and no one put any pressure on us to leave, reason why I loved it. ? Recommended!

Environment is brilliantly authentic! Staff is so friendly and helpful!Only complain is taste of the beef in meat durum! There is kinda sour taste mixed with interesting smell like goat or sheep that mixed with beef that I couldn’t identify.I would not prefer that one next time! Needs to be improve…Other than that delicious food!
The food here is excellent. However, I wouldn't recommend going after 8:30 pm. Although the kitchen stays open until 9:30, they start pushing you to order quickly. We arrived at 8:40 and were asked three times if we had made our decision by 8:50. The food is fantastic, but that was quite frustrating. Food rating: 5/5.
The food was delightful, especially the house salad, which was exceptional. I ordered the köfte for my main course, and it was cooked perfectly—juicy and well-balanced, just the way I like it. This is a must-visit spot if you're looking to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine near New York. Food rating: 4/5.

The Turkish food here is absolutely fantastic. It's not extravagant, but the flavors are outstanding.
