The service at this restaurant is outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff. We opted for the $228 menu and were pleased with the delicious soup and juicy, crispy shrimp. However, the flounder was undercooked and needed to be sent back. The mushroom and bok choy dish had great flavor, while the jelly dessert was just okay. The fried rice and duck were satisfactory, though not as impressive as in the past. We were pleasantly surprised with the fried taro cakes as a special treat. There were a few flies near the bathroom, but overall it was clean. Unfortunately, some of the dishes seemed bland this time, but the large portion sizes and excellent customer service made up for it.
Mark’s Duck House brought me back to my childhood in China. The dimsum has so many options, the portions are well sized, and it is so good. My friend and I were just there to check it out so we could only eat around three dishes, but I defintely want to go back so I can order more . The waiter was so sweet, and also from Chengdu! Everyone was nice and it has the perfect homey feel. The chicken feet was delicious, I miss having the dishes and seasonings that in America larger places don’t want to do.
Not a very bad place, but not very good either. The duck tasted good, but it was almost cold and too oily. The pork dumplings were fairly good. Some of the staff were friendly (my waiter was friendly), others not so much. When I asked for fresh grated or sliced ginger to put on my dumplings, my waiter had to ask the manager whether or not it was okay to give me ginger, because apparently the ginger is not given during dim sum hours.
