Maru Coffee demonstrates that light roast beans have diversity of flavors and can be robust without over roasting. The Mexican blend is the transcendence of robust chocolate flavors displacing the need for dark roasts. I love matcha, and Maru does this equally as well as they do coffee. The service was fast, and friendly. Baristas are knowledgeable. Design is simple, and several locals come here to hang for a bit. You won't find many laptops open. Underwhelming experience. We came here on a Friday morning to try out a new study spot, but it was PACKED with artsy rich kids. The street parking was tough to find an open spot. The table tops were dirty probably because it was so busy and the staff didn’t have a moment to spare. I really wanted to like the coffee at least but it was average. This coffee spot is better for socializing, taking photos for a “simple modern” vibe, or if you like matcha. I was also expecting a Korean specialty baked goods menu or something since the name implies so, but it is pretty standard.
This restaurant serves outstanding specialty coffee, has speedy Wi-Fi, and an abundance of power outlets. The interior is elegantly designed with a minimalist approach. It creates a lively atmosphere with a diverse crowd, perfectly balancing those who like to stay a while with those who are concentrated on their work. The music plays at a comfortable level, making it an enjoyable spot to unwind or get things done. If you're open to a short walk, there’s plenty of street parking available nearby.
I've been to Maru several times, and it has consistently been excellent! I always start with a Bon Bon and then enjoy a Cream Top. Both drinks are a real treat for coffee enthusiasts. The Bon Bon, made with an espresso shot, is quite unique and absolutely worth trying if you love espresso. During each visit, I find the baristas and other customers to be friendly and welcoming. I truly wish I lived closer!

Hip and popular coffee shop. Appears to be dog friendly as well.of course the coffee is really good. I also ordered cream top, you don't find it anywhere else, perfect strong ice sort black topped with sweetened cream.Diverse clientel, many folx bringing their laptops, the setting seems to work well.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level. entrance is a wheelchair friendly ramp.
I truly enjoy their coffee and the ambiance of the place. The barista was friendly; however, one woman shot me a long stare when I asked for a glass of water in a glass instead of a plastic cup. My suggestion is to try the flat white or cortado served in a real cup—it really does taste better!
Wonderful, coffee and great pastries as well. I made a special trip to this place and was very happy with everything they had to offer. I ended up getting a pour over as well as a croissant. I will happily visit this place again next time I’m in the arts district of downtown LA.
Coffee was good. The line is generally always very long, naturally this led me to believe that the coffee must be amazing. I was not disappointed by the latte and cold brew but I have definitely had better coffee in shorter lines.Service: 5/5

The interior is open and flooded with natural light. I thoroughly enjoyed the Creme Top specialty coffee! Food rating: 5/5.
