I came for happy hour, and the drinks were delightful! I ordered a watermelon Mojito, which strangely had tamarind around the rim. I just used a straw to avoid it since I’m not fond of that flavor. I also had the tacos, and I swear I thought I was eating a fish taco because the chicken was prepared in a way that made it taste like one. It was the best taco! The other chicken taco I tried was a bit dry, though. The hot sauce had a great flavor, but it was really spicy (I can handle mild spices). The garlic fries were fantastic—crispy and freshly baked from the oven, and the garlic sauce was so good that we even asked for extra without any additional charge! The restaurant offered a fantastic selection of food, and we were pleasantly surprised to have leftovers. Since our party was large, the tip was included, which was convenient. The music was a little loud, so I rated it 4 stars. It’s clearly a popular place, boasting a wide variety of food, drinks, and sports on TV. We found the online reviews to be spot-on, and we’ll definitely return when we visit family. The parking lot was ample and free. While it might be a bit noisy for kids, they will certainly enjoy the chicken dishes. Additionally, the restaurant was wheelchair accessible, featuring a ramp that was helpful for my aunt, who uses a cane.
I had a wonderful experience with the customer service at this restaurant. Parking was easy to find, and the ambiance was really enjoyable. I tried the Southern Daughters Drink, which was fantastic. While the food was decent, it didn't quite match the appealing look it had in photos. I wasn't a fan of the garlic fries, as they had a sauce that didn't suit my taste, and the fries themselves didn't have the expected garlic flavor. However, the nachos and chicken sandwich were quite tasty!
We got seated quickly. It was difficult to open up the menu on the phone. There was an extensive option for unique cocktails. We shared the 1/2 roasted chicken with a side of corn and sweet potato fries. The 2 sauces were both delicious. Plus, the Naan bread was delicious. Made plans to go back next weekend. The chicken sandwich was delicious, although I think the rolls could be improved with better cooking. The regular fries were decent—good, but not extraordinary. This is the perfect place for a Friday night! There's always a DJ playing fantastic music. The food is amazing, and the drink selection is abundant. I enjoyed switching from beer to cocktails and discovered an incredible Mezcal cocktail. Definitely give them a visit! Rating: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
