I am still sitting in the restaurant as I write this. I asked for a croissant breakfast sandwich combo, which I know they serve as theor menu is posted on their Facebook page. When I received my meal it wasn't on a croissant but that is not the reason why I am writing this review. My sandwich came out with a hair on the egg. It looked to be a short curly hair, possibly from an eyebrow or eyelash. The server took it back to the kitchen and a lady from the kitchen came out with my sandwich asking where the hair was. I pointed out where it was and she returned to the kitchen. I could hear them talking from the dining area and I could hear her say, "it looks like an eyelash." They brought me bac...
I visited Mary's Diner for the first time in late February and was eager to test the waters of this concept from Mary Brown's. Although the restaurant has been there for a few years, I never had an opportunity to eat there primarily because I live outside the province. A couple in front of us asked for a booth.There was one booth available, but it was just vacated and needed to be cleaned. The wait staff took approximately 10 mins to clean the booth (restaurant was busy) and although tables were available never acknowledged anyone in line behind the couple waiting for the booth. I can't fathom how tough it would be to look beyond that couple and offer a table to the next people in line, but...
I'll keep this short and sweet. Extremely slow service. I've waited as long as 25 mins inside, and as long as 35 mins in the drive-through waiting for food. I've been served cold food, received small pieces of chicken, and was never offered any apologies. Avoid this location! Just my experience/opinion! Mary Brown's chicken itself can be very tasty.
First thoughts were the diner is an excellent business model and the service was happy and attentive. Had the Classic Breakfast and happy to report that the "Hash Brown's" were actually small 'Taters'. Everything else was all good. Beans were done with molasses. Service kept on checking to see if we needed anything including coffee. Well done!

Needed some quick food to feed a group of family helpers helping me move. Grabbed a huge bucket of chicken with all the fixins and everyone enjoyed the feast. That's the way to do it and you still get a great feed at reasonable price./
Great dine in and take out service, not only dot hey have the typical Mary Browns food but also a Mary's Diner menu which includes much more great meals.
Extremely tasty and friendly. Love this place. You have to try the taters, dressing and gravy. Think Mary Browns but even better....excellent chicken.
Excellent experience and the food was absolutely amazing! Very competitive prices compared to other breakfast places in town. Definitely recommended!
