I also enjoyed the Pappadi Chat and Aloo Tikki Chat, both of which were mouthwatering, along with the chicken biryani and lamb curry served with garlic naan. Everything was fantastic, and I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my meal. This cafe has truly left a wonderful impression on me, and it's now my favorite spot to enjoy delicious dishes. I dined at Masala Desi Cafe this week and was warmly welcomed by the server, Rahul VR. He was very pleasant and courteous, offering great suggestions from the menu. The quality, quantity, and spices of the food were all perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return for a meal on my next visit to Burlingame, CA. Kudos to the management, and a special shoutout to Rahul for being the star of the evening!
The quality of the food here has noticeably declined. The Paneer Butter Masala Curry and Dal Makhani Curry were both very bland and seemed to be made with old oil or butter. The Veg Samosa (2 pieces) was disappointing—greasy and quite tough. The only redeeming item was the Garlic Naan, but unfortunately, it was overly burnt as well.

The biryani was delicious, perfectly spiced, and made with fresh ingredients. It’s definitely the best Paneer Biryani in the peninsula!
I order from here all the time, and everything is truly fantastic. The burrito is a great fusion dish as well!
