Worst customer service experienced! Prepare to be SCOLDED and escorted out of the shop by the manager if you are not ordering because of the ridiculous 'each person MUST order' policy. Went in with a gang of friend of 7 and all of them ordered except me as I came in later after heavy dinner, just wanting to have a gathering time with them, without knowing abt this policy. It was the last order of the day, and the lady manager demanded me to order IMMEDIATELY , otherwise she will escort me out of the shop. I didn't know about This ridiculous policy, and it's unfair for not given time to look at the menu. I think everyone has the right to make decision on which to order, and it was only 5-10...

The service from my experience at Matcha House was appalling. Although, in general, the employees were pleasant and happy to serve us. A customer was told that she was going to be 'escorted out' if she did not purchase an item due to the store's 'one person-one purchase' policy. This is unacceptable to tell a customer that he or she would be escorted out in such a rude tone; the employees need to handle and conduct this policy in a way that makes customers feel more comfortable. Definitely ruined the atmosphere. The food was average.
Ive been here a few times now and i think the place has certainly picked up since early days. I have warmed up to the lava cake and they also do savory dishes which can be a bit of a hit or miss. However definately ask about their alcohol menu as they have a range of sake & whisky! overall its a decent place for casual drinks and something sweet !

Terrible service . Not asking for spilt bill ! Only asked to pay to use 2 cards. Is fine if it classified as spilt bill but one of the waitress really showed bad attitude ! Not even smile when explained ! When service the tea not service is DROP the whole pot on the table
WTF WE DONT NEED TO PUT UP WITH THIS SERVICE ! Don't go !
Had the panna cotta and sencha tea. Servings are small and pricey - not really worth paying that much really. Good atmosphere but can be discomforting to those that don't like taking their shoes off. It's also quiet cold in the tea seating area but there are tables to sit at if you would prefer.
yum yum yum! this was definitely a unique experience but well worth it. Everything on the menu has matcha. I have had the waffles and the lava matcha cake and both were amazing. Especially the lava cake which came with icecream and oozed the best goo ever! Check it out for something different
The environment was a bit too dark. Matcha waffles were decent. Did not really taste much matcha taste in it and does not taste freshly made. The ice creams were quite good . Tried their green tea and ho ji cha ice cream which was quite fragrant and can taste more of the green tea in it.
