Food was ok for a Korean BBQ restaurant. They really charges a lot here for the little food. The side dishes were only really a few pieces of each item. We were left with really no server. Our sides came out first and the meat came out almost 30 minutes later!!?? I understand that it may be a busy night, but after everyone left, there were still no server coming to talk to ask, ask for the bill, etc. it was a bad experience. Waited a very long time for anything.
Becoming one of my Family's favorite restaurants. Variety of authentic choices with a family sole proprietor feel, with very attentive staff. Parking may be an issue at times but the inconvenience of a slight hike is a non issue once the food starts arriving. Not a chain corporate restaurant feel nor taste; though, i will be asking if spicier options exist as I love the heat.
What a great experience at Matjoa Korean BBQ! It was welcoming from the minute we walked in with Joe. It continued with Rachel and the rest of the staff. Food was wonderful, specialty drink’s outstanding and everything is reasonably priced. You really need to book a reservation for the cooking table. It was so much fun! We will definitely be back again soon
I am Korean and my husband is really picky about Korean BBQ. We had no hope for Korean restaurant around Tampa but WE FOUND THE AMAZING PLACE!! We love the food and meats. All side dishes are absolutely delicious! I live in Wesley Chapel and it is a bit far. But IT IS WORTHY! We will definitely be there again. Maybe once a month?? Highly Recommend!!! I usually a big tipper but not this time . 3 servers around but none of them came to our table grill for us the whole time, while all other 3 tables got the grill service. I would understand if they're busy but it was only 4 tables at the time. Food was great hopefully the servers are getting good tips from them.
The food here is always amazing as is the service. My husband and I try to come here at least once a month as a treat. Great variety of food and reasonable prices. Having a Korean mother, this place is definitely authentic. Never disappointed.
The food is incredible and so is the owner. He puts so much pride into his work and you can tell. Top notch Korean barbecue that you won't find anywhere else. We drive almost an hour to eat here on a regular occasion it's so good!
Joe and the rest of the staff are just phenomenal, I couldn’t ask for a better restaurant. The presentation, the warm welcome, and the drinks… all amazing. If you want an amazing experience and exquisite food this is the place. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I think this place is very underrated ! Great food, customer service, and atmosphere. I have enjoyed the a la carte options as much as the korean bbq. One of my go to spots in pinellas
