My husband begs to make the trip here at least a few times a year (an hour and a half away from us). It?s been several months and the menu has been changed up a bit. My husband?s favorite dish has always been the muffleta but unfortunately it wasn?t on the menu any longer. We ordered loaded spuds, salads, and nachos. They were all delicious! It took a while to get through the line but it was noon on a Sunday so it?s to be expected. It really only took about 10 min with a line of about 15 people, not too bad. I wish they still had the coconut brownie on the menu but I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate brownie and the cookie in its place. You must try the fruit drinks too!! So good!!!
My husband and I went to a location in St. Charles a few weeks ago that was off the charts 5 star good. First time visiting this location and was disappointed. While waiting for our food a lady returned her bowl of mac cheese because it was cold. We got our food to go and went across the street at Bass Pro Shop to park and eat. What a disappointment it was when I went to eat my Potato soup and it was barely room temperature and not nearly as creamy as the one from weeks back at the other location. The Italian sandwich was good, but the soup was not and I had so looked forward to it. Ill wait to visit another location and hopefully have hot creamy soup.
Whenever I travel to Midwest I always enjoy eating at McAlister's Deli. They have a delicious Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich. Another favorite of mine is the Pecan Cranberry Salad. I love their ice tea which comes in sweet or unsweetened. When ordering a sandwich you get a side dish with the order. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean. There was a lot of seats. As it is a popular place the seats fill up fast
Me and my daughter had lunch at this location a couple of days ago...I can not say enough nice things about the way we were treated.. they come around asking if we need anything then clear our table..then to top it off they came and got our drinks and refilled for us.. that saves us from standing in line to do it ourselves...it's a yummy place to eat good wholesome food Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I love McAlister?s so much! I will say their lunch crowd wasn?t as huge as the others we?ve been to but I couldn?t figure out why! Their food was delicious as always, smiles for days, kind friendly staff and as always had the best sweet tea around!
Giving two stars rather than one because the employees and food at this location are great..only issue is that they close so early. Easily five stars if you stayed open like most typical restaurants do.
Everything was okay until the girl behind the counter was snarky. Food was good. A little pricey for what it was but good. If you can get past the snarky help, it is good.
