I visited the restaurant at around 8:25 PM on Saturday, May 20th, knowing they close at 9 PM. We intended to order takeout since we were mindful of their closing time. However, when we approached the counter, a male employee turned around and expressed his frustration by saying, "Ohhh my God," which made it clear that he was unhappy about our presence and having to work for another half hour. Given this unwelcoming attitude, my family and I chose to leave. We won’t be returning, especially with staff like that. It's disappointing to see someone who appears so dissatisfied with their job. Best of luck to the guy with curly hair at the pickup window.
We visited McAlister's and were pleasantly surprised by the wide selection on the menu and the excellent service from the staff. I had expected more of a fast-food experience, but we were welcomed by a friendly server who took our order and checked in with us to see if we needed anything else. Another attentive server stopped by to clear our plates and ensure we were enjoying our meals. It was nice to have so many options to choose from, including soups, salads, sandwiches, and potatoes, all available in half portions. Overall, our experience at McAlister's was delightful, and we look forward to coming back!
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I was pregnant and really hungry, so I had high expectations for the food, especially since I'd heard such great things about this place. My wonderful husband took me out for a lovely date, and I absolutely loved it! I definitely want to come back more often. The staff was incredibly friendly and quick with service. If you're hungry, this is definitely the place to visit! I've been to other restaurants that haven't offered the same level of service, so I truly enjoy coming here much more. Highly recommend it!
The food was decent, but the prices were quite high. A soda cost $3.69 and tea was $2.99. The sandwich was only half the size it used to be, essentially turning what used to be a whole sandwich into a half sandwich. They also charge an extra $1.00 for mac and cheese and an additional $1.50 for the French Dip sandwich. While the menu lists prices, they don’t disclose these extra charges until you place your order. The manager addressed my incorrectly charged bill after the cashier made an error, although the cashier didn't seem to care or acknowledge the mistake. I appreciate the rest of the staff for catching the error on the receipt. The food was excellent. However, I believe the advertisement on the side of the building for Black Angus should be updated, as it appears to have been damaged by a restaurant fire.
I ordered food online and was unfortunately let down by the experience. My sandwich had a strong odor and flavor reminiscent of burnt popcorn. My wife also couldn't finish her club sandwich. We usually have a great time dining at McAlister's and have had good experiences in the past, but we will be avoiding this location moving forward. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20.
I just brought home a Rachel sandwich and it is the worst sandwich ever. Tiny pieces of turkey pressed together and wasn’t fresh turkey, about 1/2 teaspoons of sauerkraut and a little spot of dressing. Broccoli left a lot to be desired too. I used the ladies restroom while they prepared my order and there is mold leaking on the toilet bowls. Worst trip ever!!! Service: Take out Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The chipotle bacon spud was amazing! We also ordered two salads, one of which was a Caesar salad. Unfortunately, it was ruined by way too much dressing, making it inedible—what a waste of $10! I won't be ordering that again.
