I stopped by this restaurant about 30 minutes before closing while on a road trip. McAlister's is one of the few chain delis that actually knows how to make a proper Reuben. Unfortunately, they forgot the Thousand Island dressing and when I asked for it, they told me they couldn't add it because the sandwich was already made and they were closing soon. Additionally, I wasn’t permitted to use the restrooms or sit down to enjoy my meal inside, again due to the impending closing time. As a result, I ended up eating my dinner on the curb outside the parking lot—ON THE CURB! I shouldn’t have been too surprised, though; the oldest staff member seemed to be around 20, at best.
Absolutely the worst!! We have ordered from McAlister's for a few meetings, and while sometimes things don't always go as planned, we enjoyed the food. Well, say goodbye to those days!! Today, in our group order, we got cold potatoes with a handful of veggies, no cheese, and no butter. A open baggie with 8 tortilla chips as the bag of chips and a southwest chicken sandwich that was missing all cheese, a lot of chicken, and the extra avocado ordered was a nice shade of yuck brown. Now one of us got extra bacon on the BLT, 28 pieces!! They once were good now, well it's more of a **** shoot on what you're gonna get!!
The manager, GM mark is extremely rude and has a nasty attitude. Wouldn't refund me and my food was cold Af and had a blonde hair in it. The cook got smart over her nasty hair in my food. They all look like... dirty. Uniforms all stained up and everyone looks like they took a perc 30 to survive there shift making 8.50 an hour. Idk why they have bad attitudes towards customers when they can just find a new job. The whole restaurant smells like mildew too. Not sure why they don't change the mop head before mopping. Highly do not recommend eating here. Slide somewhere else!!
Terrible experience all the time I've been there. Those who work there are always in a bad mood, with a bad attitude, and when they give you things they give it to you in a bad way. Food was cold, and don't follow what customer wants. The ambience is tense. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I love the club on a buttery croissant. Ceasar chicken wrap is my kids favorite. Wife enjoys the chicken club on a croissant or wrap. Can't go wrong with the flavor sweet tea. Reward program is nice too.
Parking is convenient as it's located near Meijer on Hilliard Rome Rd, and the traffic is well worth it! The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, making it easy to roll right in.
I've never been inside I usually order from a third party app but they are always so delicious and I'm not a huge deli person but they make their stuff ao good!
The food was excellent, although a bit on the expensive side. I believe the prices are fairly typical for restaurants in Columbus, though. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
$14 dollars for a French dip sandwich that was smaller than my fist and it was tough.
