This is a great local place for a social night out or a nice quiet dinner. McCarthy 's is our 'go-to ' place when we want to enjoy a decent meal and the quaint atmosphere. Last night we had Kelsie as our waitress and she was so friendly and pleasant and really made us feel welcome. She also recommended some nice summer beers which were served nice and cold on a warm summer evening. The food is always good and the menu has enough for everyone 's taste.
Went for lunch. Bartender(manager) and training bartender had NO SOCIAL SKILLS. The mixed drink I ordered had no taste. Had to send it back. Good for shot and a beer only. Because we had much higher expectations for it was a total disappointment.
Good food and a large selection of beverages to chose from. Friendly servers and in an atmosphere that makes you feel like you are 3000 miles away from PA. Must visit of you are in Bethlehem.

We loved the hospitality, food, and unique entertainment experience of one-man band, Brian Kidd. This place is a slam dunk!
