There are two things I really enjoy at McDonald's: the breakfast and the coffee drinks. After some Christmas shopping, I realized my blood sugar was low, so I decided to grab a bite. I ordered a caramel iced coffee, and it was delicious. I also got a Quarter Pounder with cheese, and noticed it could have bacon too—everything tastes better with cheese! I took a bite of the burger, and maybe because I was starving, but it tasted amazing. When was the last time you bit into a McDonald's burger and actually burned your tongue because the patty was so hot? One small issue: they forgot to put the bacon on the burger, but hopefully next time!
I arrived at McDonald's around 1:30 am on a Monday and was told my food would be brought out, but it never arrived. I ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes in line and received my order after customers who arrived much later. The menu options were fine, but the service was disappointing.
This McDonald's is the best I've visited so far. The food was fantastic, with perfectly made sandwiches, toasted buns, and crispy fries. The only minor issue was that the tables were somewhat dirty, probably because it was lunchtime. Overall, I’d give it a 9 out of 10.
McDonald's no longer meets my expectations. As a pescatarian, I find it hard to get a decent fish sandwich, hot fries, or fresh coffee. I had hoped that with their recent pay increase, the quality would improve, but unfortunately, that hasn't been the case.
