I went to the opening of this place. It was bad. Food came out cold. Not warm, cold. Sloppily made too. But I gave them another chance since openings are always hectic. BUT. The service and food continued to be poor as time passed. A fair few times, we had to wait over half an hour for our order. And it was the case for many other customers that we all ended up demanding a refund. The Hungry Jacks down the other side works better than this, although McDonald's probably gets more people. Not only is the service poor, but it's as if the workers don't want to work. They insist you use the menu ordering machines instead of going to the counter, even if you're paying cash anyways. Food continues...
now this is the third visit in a row that this load was more than disappointing. 1. visit her toilets disgusting. 2. Visit men toilets locked and not available. 3. visit (today) men toilets cuddly and the door torn out of the cubic. I'm not gonna sit and have one in the toilet before everyone else. where to the teufel is the staff going? Moreover, this store is always dirty, müll and empty grinding times stacked on the tables. I had to leave my half meal so I could get to a toilet in a nearby shopping center. this place is not what I expect from maccas. standards are too low. I would suggest using nearby hungry jacks if they want a burger, although their burgers are not so good.
I visited this McDonald's on a Saturday night, like many others do. I have never felt so unwelcome in a place before. The staff were extremely rude, especially considering the fact that they appeared to be no older than 13. Shouldn't there be an adult supervising them? It took 5 minutes for someone to finally take our order, and another 20 minutes to receive our food, despite there only being 2 other customers in the store and a few in the drive-thru. I live nearby, but I will not be returning.
As I have said in a couple of previous tripadvisor posts...with the likes of these food chains (Hungry Jacks, KFC etc) you are going to find all of them to be much of a muchness. I have never had an issue here and the orders...have always been correct. It's right next to a car wash and Red Rooster. A small shop precinct is also directly across the road from Maccas as well so if the golden arches don't work for you then head across the road for some chinese, fish n chips or pizza.

They messed up my order. The food was cold and the store manager was rude and disgusting. I was appalled by the fact that they would employ such an uneducated man as a store manager who couldn't even communicate properly. I recommend avoiding the Carrum Downs store at all costs unless you want to have a terrible day.
I often stop off on the way back from the city or Dandenong.Parking is easy and the Mc Cafe section is clean and inviting. The chairs are comfy with low tables. Use your Mc Donalds Loyaly Card and get a free cappuccino every now and again. The Cappuccino with the $3 add on of a snack is good value.
I gave up the order. cold product. disgusting and rude store manager. I was so shocked that what the hell that would have used such an uneducated man as a load manager that could not say anything gives a healthy sense. avoid carrum downs to all costs if they do not want to ruin their own day.
A typical breakfast at McDonald's includes hotcakes, a hashbrown, orange juice, and coffee. The table service at McDonald's is now a nice touch.

Drove through the drive through to grab a coffee and carrot cake. Staff was very friendly and the coffee and cake were yummy ????
