Ambience in the front corner with Christmas Tree, etc was very nice but the big green couch was unbearably uncomfortable and the table was way to short for any of us. Probably short staffed but we hardly ever saw the waitress and waited forever to get the check. The food was just normal but the price way too high for what it was . I had 2 fried eggs, hash browns and 2 pieces of sausage for $18 and my friend had an ok bowl of Gumbo for $24 no side, no bread. The presentation didn 't exist. Just eggs and hash browns lying on a plate. Seems there could have been a piece of fruit maybe even a piece of lettuce to make it look good. Was obvious no one cared to take that little extra step. I usually have good food when I go, but yesterday when I went to eat it was cold and not good. Maybe the cook had a bad day? or it was sitting toooo long before it was brought to the table? I had the benedikt and the English muffin was burned and the Canadian speck cooked too long and was crispy. the Hollandaise sauce was very warm. the others in the table were not too much interested in their breakfast. the only silver lining was that our server bailey was super friendly.

Had a great booth near the fireplace. Service was excellent. Shawn was fast and attentive. My husbands steak was over cooked so Shaun immediately reordered another for him while telling him to keep eating the rest of his meal. He then brought him another complete meal with the steak cooked rare like he likes it! Beignets were delicious with a dark chocolate dipping sauce. Perfect ending for the evening!

The food was good, but the service was really bad! The waiter literally ghosted us, we had to go up front to find someone to give us our bill. If the place was busy I might have understood but the waiter only had three tables in her area. If I have all the time in the world I might consider going back, but I'll eat at the bar where I have a captive waiter. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

It was good, had a lovely date with my significant other. The food is good, though maybe a little overpriced for the quality. The service was very good, there was nothing that came to the wrong table and the waitress brought whatever we needed. The wait on the food was about 45 min, so definitely set aside time for that. I plan to go again soon.

The cooks are not always producing consistent quality of the dishes but we noticed it has improved lately. The dishes this evening were fantastic! Seasonal braised ribs were tender delicious and hearty! The service is friendly and casual and the tavern is cozy and homey in every season.

We came for the ambiance and it delivered. Service was also great. But I wouldn’t come back for the drinks or food- both had some challenges.

we sang with our children. they were happy to set up the table for the children. Eating took more than an hour to get out.
