I was searching for a place to eat and came across this restaurant, Yas's, which had great reviews. It was highly recommended for their delicious tacos, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the tacos and they were indeed amazing, some of the best I've ever had. The food is always top-notch at authentic Mexican restaurants. Not only was the food delicious, but the restaurant was clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. I will definitely be returning for the tacos, but they also have a variety of other options such as sandwiches, hot dogs, and fries. I highly recommend this place!
Ordered for delivery via door dash today for the first time and food was still warm so that was cool. The hot dog was good enough to eat, definitely not to brag about. The chicken tenders were very crispy and my daughter liked them. Fries were the best part of the meal. Usually save the best for last but the torta was definitely the worst. The random food they shoved into it made it very difficult to finish the torta. If they didn't ruin the torta it would've been 4 stars.What expectations should I have had for a place trying to make Mexican and American food?
Tacos are a must at this restaurant! Don't get me wrong, the hot dogs, polish, philly steak sandwich, and everything else are great too! But the tacos are the standout item on the menu. I would also recommend trying the asada with the option of adding avocado. The hand-cut fries are also delicious. Overall, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but make sure not to miss out on the tacos!
I would personally give this place five stars because the consistency of the items on the menu and the sister restaurants are always spot-on. eating is great, personal is great. I get in the rule the tacos that are very filling and taste great. just reason why it got a 4 stars, was the price for tacos is a little steep. 3.50 per taco is more than I am used to paying. I paid $2-2.50 for a tacos. a great place to get some delicious food!
This is a great little fast food joint in Highwood. It is family friendly, quick and friendly service. The hotdogs are the classic Chicago dog, with all the topping you want or don't want, and the fries are crisp and fresh. My friends all raved about there food.
Always delicious for carry out or very casual dine in. Love the corn and then veggie tacos. It is disappointing that the Cali wrap and tortilla soup are no longer on the menu.
