Very disappointing dining experience! We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation time, 6:30, and were seated right away. From That point the dining experience went down hill. First of all it Took a long time to order and get drinks. Then when we were asked if we were ready to order we were told that the they were already out of the braised short ribs. 3 people from the party were planning to order the ribs. Now we had to reconsider our choices. Once we ordered the food it took an hour to get our meals. We never saw our waiter again until the meals came. During the hour he never offered bread, to refill Our water glasses or ask if we wanted another drink. The meals were good, not great. Whe...
The food lacked seasoning, so we had to request salt and pepper, but our waitress took them away shortly after the busgirl had left them on our table without asking. Despite telling her that we were still looking at the drinks menu and that she would come back to take our order, she never did. Instead, we had to order with the busgirl who brought our main course before we were ready. Additionally, when we started speaking in English, our waitress asked us to speak in French.
The restaurant is in an interesting old building and the interior is well designed. There was a live musician performing the night we ate there. The menu has a lot of interesting options and we opted for the beef tartare which had chopped instead of ground steak, and it was excellent. We saw numerous other beef plates being served and all looked very tempting. The wait staff is well versed on the menu items and service was perfect.
Dry aged steak was bland, they don't know how to cook it to proper temperature. I asked for medium-rare, but got medium. Pork dumplings tasted horrible. Our friends got the seafood plate, there was barely any seafood there. We spent over 100 per person, and there was nothing good. Spoke to the manager, and he gave us nothing but excuses. Menu looked great however service was very poor wrong orders delivered and barely warm food On the plus side my husbands Steak was excellent and wine was very good But to give the restaurant credit when it came to the bill the apologies and discounted the bill substantially. Would have preferred a good meal
Overall experience was very good. Amazing and polite staff. Food was excellent and well priced . The restaurant is beautiful. If it wasn’t for the orange cones in the street we could have had some beautiful pictures. Of course this has nothing to do with the restaurant… just saying
The service, food, and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent. However, I was let down that they only offered dry-aged beef by the ounce, with the smallest cut being 32 oz. No one needs to consume two pounds of steak, especially for nearly $150.
As this is a steakhouse, I ordered the Philadelphia for $52 and was very disappointed in the quality of that price. I expected it to melt in your mouth. It was difficult to slice even with a stick knife other than that, it was okay. Nothing special Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very good service and awesome meat .... but a little bit too noisy to discuss :( But still a place to stop.
