small place in a strip mall located way off the beaten path. stumbled upon this place on Open Table, and was very impressed by the food it was fresh tasting and full of flavor. i love exotic spices and found Spice Route's flavor fantastic. the restaurant itself is rather quiet (in that it was very empty) but i went at on a friday. things started picking up as we left. this will be added to my GoTo list for sure.
My husband and I visited Spice Route when our intended dinner didn't defrost in time. We ordered our food with medium spice which was perfect for us. Both presentation and taste were wonderful. I could not finish my meal, too much food, so I had it packed to go. We will be back, definitely!
The ambiance was ok but the food quality and taste was amazing. I am new to eating Indian food and the waiter took his time to explain each dish before I made my choice. Everything I had was cooked perfectly and not too spicy. I will definitely repeat.
