The food and service was amazing ?? spinach artichoke dip was the best I have ever had. You can never go wrong with the pretzel bites and Beer Cheese dip???? the calzone was baked to perfection. My boyfriend loves a thin crust pizza it made him very happy.Tracy was amazing kept checking to see if everything was okay. Our bartender was so nice and helpful. Mellow Mushroom offers patio seating and prioritizes social distancing and mask-wearing. They have heat lamps above each outdoor table, ensuring a comfortable experience even on cooler days. From 12 to 2, they feature a $5 lunch menu, along with happy hour specials. This time, I decided to try something new and ordered the Philosopher’s Pie, and I was thoroughly impressed. The garlic aioli is always a tasty addition to either pizza or calzones.
Limited capacity and socially distance makes for less crowded quieter conditions than usual. Indoor seating and outside dining. The tables outside are warmed by electric heating from above. Warmer than around the fire pit. The pizza is great! The Great White pizza was unbelieveably yummy. I love the crust. It holds firm and taste wonderful. Don't let Covid19 keep you from a great dinner out. Now is the time to come.
I have loved Mellow Mushroom ever since I discovered it while living in North Carolina. This particular location is really nice, conveniently situated with plenty of parking available. It is also handicapped accessible and offers both outdoor and indoor dining options, as well as a space for children's parties. Delicious pizza and excellent service! This place is ideal for a relaxed date. The crust on their pizzas might be a topic of debate, and some may find the toppings a bit too much. There are plenty of topping options, and you can customize the signature pizzas to your liking. They also offer a variety of other dishes besides pizza.
I don't think I've ever had so much fun at a restaurant before!! Along with amazing cheesy pizzas, delicious well-done burgers, and sandwiches like no other, this place gave me an excited feeling I've never felt before with KARAOKE NIGHT! Amazing singersand groups there for fun, with an encouraging DJ and songs everyone can enjoy.
I ordered a pizza for pickup from this location for the first time, and I absolutely loved it! I lived in Newport News for three years and wasn't a big fan of Mellow Mushroom there, but here I could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. My pizza was ready in under 20 minutes. I will definitely be returning!

The pizza was amazing, full of flavor, especially the crust. However, the pretzel bites were soft yet quite dry and were missing garlic. They also forgot the Caesar dressing, and since we didn't have any at home, it ended up being a waste of money.
