The Melton Hotel is a regular haunt of mine (close to work, and to where I used to live). The restaurant in here is run by a very friendly team, who prepare very tasty meals at a great price. In particular, the Chinese meals are...excellent; the satay chicken is a personal favourite! I have taken my family here, but you need to be careful about the timing if you are going to be there with kids for dinner: on certain evenings you'll find lingerie waitresses walking around, which can be a bit awkward if you're there with your teenage boys. The food is popular enough that you might have a hard time getting a seat if you turn up in the middle of the dinner rush (fortunately, they do takeaway too...

I want to express my gratitude to the wonderful team at Melton for taking care of me during my visit to the Tony Robbins seminar. The hotel is conveniently located near the Qudos Bank Arena, where I spent most of my days. The bar staff, especially Daniel, were all so lovely and the room was cleaned to perfection. The only suggestion for improvement I have is for the windows to be more soundproof, as the traffic noise was a bit loud. This was my first time staying at a pub hotel, but I will definitely be back to stay with them again. Thank you!
I stayed here for one night after a flight from New Zealand. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with a fridge and fresh linens. It appears to be an old hotel, and I can imagine that it might have been a place for European travelers when they arrived in Australia in the 1800s. Downstairs, there's a traditional-style Australian bar with gaming machines, sports, beer, and food. Plus, a drink upon arrival is included in the hotel price.

While the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, I wouldn’t stay here again. There is A LOT of noise from the pub/Tab downstairs, the bathrooms were not cleaned more than once per day, and there were a number of fights...taking place in the hallways at night. For the price, I would also expect ensuite bathrooms. I’d give this place a pass if you want quiet and convenience.
we had a nice family room, but the facilities were shared by all in the hotel, running were missing from floors and walls, and a shower had no lockable door. the personal was friendly and helpful, but sometimes inexperienced booking.com and the bookings. because they said they booked twice.
The Melton Hotel offers tasty beer and satisfactory food. The menu features an East-West fusion, with dishes cooked by a Chinese couple. Although we only tried the Starters (such as Deep Fried Chicken Wings and Beef Nachos), I look forward to trying their main meals in the future.
Me and my bf were there on 13th of may to 15th of may . It was good. But the washrooms are far from the rooms. And they didn't provide breakfast's or dinner's.

This pub is a pleasant spot with affordable lunch options. They offer a variety of Asian and Western dishes that are simple but fitting for the price.
