I stayed at the Marriott Melville for two nights with my two young children and spouse. We called a day ahead to request a crib for my son. They noted it down and upon check in (around 9pm), we were told that it was already in the room. It was not. We called down to front desk and was told they would send one up asap. Thirty minutes later, no crib. We called back down again. Twenty minutes later we finally received the crib. At that point, no one was able to rest and that night felt like a complete waste. Worst place ever! Please save your money! Unless you have absolutely no choice because your friends are having a wedding or something nearby, stay far away from this hell hole. They are horrible. Honestly. It actually isn't necessary the staff, they were friendly enough. It's corporate. They sell out for the money and screw over the little people. Shocking. They book almost the entire place, but have maybe a room or two left, so instead of just closing it down to the group, they still allow u to book so u end up getting swallowed whole into your worst nightmare. The location was nice and staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. However, the temperature was not regulated in the facility after eating the food, many guests in my party became ill. Also, I canceled a second room reservation and was told one price for a cancellation fee, only to receive my credit card bill with another price. Three individuals, one being a manager, conveniently do not recall telling me the price. Had they given me the correct information, I would not have canceled. I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a wedding block and I will absolutely never return. The front desk staff is clueless. We never received turndown that we asked for. The hot water on our floor was broken. Worst of all, they checked in new guests and GAVE THEM KEYS TO OUR ROOM. Yes, strangers were able to access our room while we were in there (this was not the day of our check in of checkout), and the front desk never apologized. We contacted both Marriott and the property to report the issues and never received a resolution or even acknowledgment of the serious security issues we encountered.

This property's true value is defined by the absolutely stellar staff that go above and beyond to ensure the customers are cared for. I travel often for work and miss important celebrations at home (birthdays, anniversaries, etc). Today is my wedding anniversary, and I was emotional about missing my wife. Cora, the front desk manager, worked secretly with my wife to surprise me with the most wonderful card and desserts, delivered to my room while I was gone. Incredible and truly heartfelt experience! THAT is hospitality. Also, the rooms were clean and efficient-good for business travel.
Place is spectacular. Amenities are spectacular. Rooms are impeccable. Common areas are impeccable. The person that checked me in went above and beyond and gave me the list of everything happening in the hotel which is very beneficial because I travel and could miss out on things that are happening that I would participate in. I will note that the sound barriers are not that great. I could hear people drying their hair, three rooms down, showers, running, etc. But will definitely stay there again
The good: location, staff, restaurant and bar. The bad: Air conditioning is essentially non functioning, or its just being INCREDIBLY LOUD and barely making the room cooler? The thermostat illuminates the room with a painful green light. The tv is broken: partly dark on the top half. The room windows/balcony opens onto the atrium walkway so anyone can look in if you open the drapes. Not worth the price imo. Either pay more for more or the less for the same.
Checked in, they sent me to a room that was already assigned to someone else, got another room, that one was already occupied, finaly got a 3 room but wifi didnt work, had to call helpdesk to make it work, then went to the restaurant for a steak, no steak, restricted menu that evening due to an event. This will be a stay that I will remember…

A beautiful hotel it is asceticly pleasing to the eye. The amenities great, the bathroom was beautiful, the customer service great, the restaurant food and service great..I absolutely loved everything about this hotel.
Really cool stay but they wouldn’t let us have a late check out. I didn’t even get to use the pool, that was somewhat disappointing since that’s why we booked this location.
