I really love this restaurant—I’ve been friends with the owners since the 1980s. However, I'm disappointed that their hours have changed. They are no longer open late on Saturdays and are now closed on Sundays. Additionally, it would be wonderful if I could call in my tamale order during the holidays instead of having to visit in person to place it.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, but the real star is undoubtedly the salsa. The Don Vicente Chipotle salsa is particularly exceptional, boasting a fantastic mix of flavors and the perfect level of spiciness that keeps me coming back for more.
The Chile Colorado plate deserves a special mention—it's very authentic and one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The tacos are great as well!

Dining inside what is essentially a convenience store feels a bit unusual for lunch, but the Chimichanga was definitely delicious.
The bacon, egg, potato, and cheese breakfast burrito lacked seasoning. A touch of salt and pepper would have made it much better!
Whenever I'm in town, I always make it a point to stop by and enjoy the daily special! It's also a fantastic grocery store!
