Teníamos planeado ir al restaurante con la mejor puntuación en Salobreña pero estaba cerrado ese día, elegimos este restaurante porque nos gustaron algunas de las criticas y las fotos de los platos pero no nos esperábamos comer tan bien, flipantes todos los platos, cada cual mejor que el anterior, pedimos siete platos y todos brutales...el personal muy agradable y atento, el sitio igual, muy agradable y con fantásticas vistas...no entiendo como puede estar en una posición tan baja de puntuación, por debajo de restaurantes de turisteo y muy poca calidad...por cierto, los precios más que correctos...nuestras felicitaciones y agradecimientos al equipo, tuvimos una velada estupenda y realmente c...
We had the last meal of our holiday at the Hotel Miba Restaurant. The restaurant's location is excellent, the service is friendly and the interior is fresh and bright. We had high expectations. The meal we had was both expensive and extremely poor. The pate was without flavour; not nearly as good as we had bought from the local Carrefour supermarket!! Of our main courses, the Iberian Pork was tasty but the potato accompaniment was utterly tasteless other than its mass of salt. The fish was still largely raw and remained uneaten. Extremely disappointing and a miserable end to our (otherwise very enjoyable) Salobreña holiday.
Ibamos con las expectativas un poco regulares tras ver las reseñas en Google.Pero nos sorprendió bastante, estaba todo espectacular. Pedimos como entrante setas con huevo y trufa y como platos principales (sugerencias del día) secreto de angus y carrilleras. Todo exquisito , las vistas preciosas y respecto a la relación calidad precio es bastante razonable ya que se veía que la calidad de los platos era muy buena. Sin duda alguna volveremos!
The restaurant itself is lovely and the terrace has views overlooking the castle. The food was outstanding and each dish was perfectly balanced. Surprising combinations kept us eagerly awaiting the next dish. The highlight for me was the truffle egg and mushroom starter and the main, well the beef fillet. The waiter was attentive but not hounding. The wine was great and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Definitely don’t miss this great restaurant! Beautiful view, super friendly staff and extremely talented chef in the kitchen. The food is outstanding! By the way, we made a huge mistake eating at restaurant Peñon on the beach the first night, the food was absolutely horrible, see my other review on it. If you are in the area, definitely come to Miba restaurant for a meal.
We loved this restaurant. Every dish we had was indeed very very good. Especially the artichokes! But my beef was excellent as was my daughter's turbot and the dessert we had of churros and chocolates was really enough to make us want to go back... Thank you to the chef for creating such good quality food where one doesn't expect it at all...
