Michael’s Chinese - Tisch resevieren

The takeout was quick and very good, and it was easy to order online to pick up. The location is small this is solely a takeout place, so don't go here expecting to eat inside. I was a little disappointed in prices for what I received, but I was very spoiled living in Fairmount with the Chinese restaurants there. The prices here are a little more expensive, for less food (no soups in their combo platters). I was very surprised that their chicken rice did not also include vegetables, as that seems fairly standard at most places, and also surprised that all of their combo platters come with pork fried rice instead of vegetable. In general though, the food was good.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered from here twice in three days because I was so impressed. They only accept cash, but you can order using a card or Apple Pay through the BeyondMenu app. I tried the general tso chicken and it's now my favorite spot in Philadelphia. I used to enjoy Master Wok in Liberty Place, but Michael's food is cheaper (best lunch special), fresher, tastier, and a better value. I also appreciate that they staple the containers shut to prevent spills and include a fortune cookie with each purchase. Next time you're in the mood for Chinese food, give this place a try - you won't regret it!

scenario: i am walking home from another one of my favorite south philly establishments, that is Bonnie's Capistrano Bar, and i remember that there is no food at my house and i am very hungry. at moments like this, micheal's chinese kitchen has repeatedly provided me with quality general tso's tofu, spring rolls and french fries.
