Every time I get to visit my hometown of Oak Park, stopping at Mickey's Gyros for a Riblet sandwich is Mandatory! I don't recall when they first opened, but I believe I've been a customer from the beginning, easily years, and the excellent food is honestly the same today as it was then. And it blows my mind to see some of the same people behind the counter after all these years, the epitome of a mom-and-pop type business! Thanks for that, it really preserves the memories.
Thank you UrbanSpoon for giving us this 'new discovery! ' Soul food Greek Italian all rolled into one! My gyro sandwich was LOADED and so delicious! Hubby 's Grecian chicken was superb. You would think we would 've left the place smelling of the cooking, but we noticed that ventilation system took care of keeping the dining area fresh. There 's a wide variety on the menu, so we know we 'll be back!
Delicious!. Brothers Nick and Gearge really put their heart into this place. Not the fanciest place around but delicious ribs, gyros and best of all to get a nice sloppy grilled onion cheeseburger afterhours.
Mickey's is my go to restaurant especially on Rib Days Mon -Tues Enough food for meals ! The best cole slaw , garlic bread , fries a slab of the best ribs in town for take out . Great service a little… More

Best Gyros around hasn’t changed in over years and still just as good as the first time I ate there back in now my kids love it was well.
Best fast food around. If you're looking for burgers, gyros, fries etc look no further. NOT a chain, thank god. Great prices.
