What on earth has gone wrong with this chippy .... i have reccomended it to many people as last year it was absolutely fantastic . . beautiful snow white fish with crispy batter and perfect chips always service with a smile ........ today what kind of fish served i haven 't a clue ... dark fish with black running through ... the batter was crispy but dripping in old smelly fat (shocking)... the chips had the same taste and smell ' really really disgusting ..... service with a smile though that i will say. C 'mon whats gone wrong?..... Sorry about this but it is very true.
Passed this random chippy , looks ok friendly staff after ringing a bell to get attention , gets worse , pudding chips curry well , chips soft but so pale looked boiled , curry some sweet try to be curry packet thing , pudding was lovely , me mrs had chips gravy chips very sad gravy again packet , over priced and terrible good job there was a bin right outside sorry mike poor attempt
We come to this place to cheer us up after the Christie, but WOW is it so much more than that. We Go every few weeks, once every three or four weeks. The women there know what we have to eat!! It is always excellent, and they have the best chips in Manchester, always freshly cooked, always hot and the eggs are lovely. They are always busy, but no waiting. We love it!

The restaurant should consider updating their packaging for the jacket potatoes. The polystyrene container was double boxed, causing the material to melt into the hot cheese. This is a health concern as polystyrene is a carcinogen.
Can’t go wrong at all. Perfect food, great friendly staff, speedy service, always full of people yet still provide quality food and service. Great value. 100% recommend, so glad I live so close to this gem.
The breakfast used to be freshly made to order, served nice and hot. However, the quality has declined - the hash browns are kept warm and the beans are almost cold. I dislike eating lukewarm food.

All for a very reasonable price and the food came with very large portions. Food arrived piping hot and they remembered everything in our order perfectly!
