The food was amazing just our waitress was terrible. I wanted to give her a great tip so bad because I thought she was very friendly in the beginning. She didn't see us after she put the food down, 8 minutes had pass before we reached out to another waitress to get our waitress. She came over took our concern and plates when we did ask the other waitress to get her. She took our plates, knocked my partners coffee spilling it some and just kept going. Since then, we've tried to get her attention and she was just socializing at the ready food area. Currently waiting on her now for a to-go box and no luck. It's a shame the food was delicious but this particular staff was poor. She even stopped...
We arrived to the restaurant at 7:15. I was turned off immediately when two waitresses looked our way and turned around. We walked toward them, past two tables of folks eating. One waitress immediately told us no dine in allowed. We ordered our food and waited no more than 15 minutes. Not bad. I chose the smothered chicken biscuits. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits. We both got sweet tea. Everything was SO good! The biscuits were a lil dry, but I expected that tbh. Restaurant biscuits are never on par with my mama's biscuits (iykyk).
Their College Park location is great if you crave quality soul food. Everything tastes good here. The only reason I give 4 stars is because their DC location is SO much better way more on the menu. Also this place really needs to add more veggies to their dishes. They go heavy on the heavy cream but shy away from throwing in just a few more cherry tomatoes and fresh greens (and I don't mean green onion)... doesn't make much sense. Still recommend going here though. It's that good.
I was here four times. Once immerse and the rest of the execution I called before the time. The chicken cheese steak is amazing, although I now ask her to just go to the salt. My mother loves the fried crab legs. The buffalo perpetrators and truffle chips are decent pages. The best part are the two young ladies who work there. They really care about their job. I took a star away because they were not open this week without a message being released. Thanx-the cane lady (lol)
Lovely on the inside and very clean. The food was exceptional and the mimosa's were yummy I did like the fact that even though the space inside was small the tables weren't too close to each other. Great customer service and friendly waiters. I wish there was one closer to my home but I'll definitely be returning! Highly recommend!
on the last Sunday we waited for almost 3 hours and finally sat at one place. they gave us paper cachet pfeffer and salt plastic fork and spoon for a dune in restaurant experience. the food was good, but it was not worth definitiw who wait 3 hours! garnel and grits were good and also the waffeln ..
Food is good. However the service was poor. Waited two hours. Perhaps if the service was more attentive they would be about to get customers in and out at a reasonable time. Other than that vibes and music is great . Food again was good, however I'm sad to say I won't be back. Very time consuming .
My wife brought me to the birthday of milk and honey. I enjoyed the shrimps and grits I ordered. Honestly, it was probably the best shrimps and grass I ever tasted. Thank you. Definitely will return to try something else on the menu
I tried this place for lunch and was super satisfied. Your Po'boy had delicious fried shrimps on it and after ordering one half of a chicken cheese Steak they threw free in the other half. Definitely, here will be a rule.
