It's about time I share my thoughts, especially since I've dined here over 10 times! This place is an absolutely fantastic dining destination. The food is consistently excellent, and the drinks are great as well. I highly recommend the Shrimp Tempura sushi! My boyfriend and I have brought every single family member and friend who visits us to Mill Street Tavern. The views of Shem Creek and the sunset are stunning. The staff is incredible; they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and feel right at home!
My family dined here on a Friday around 4 PM, and we had a wonderful experience. The waitstaff were extremely friendly, and the views were stunning! We had made a reservation, but it turned out to be unnecessary since the restaurant was quite empty at that time. The salmon was absolutely delicious and left me feeling both full and satisfied. The mac and cheese and pulled pork were also excellent! While the menu is limited, the quality of the food truly stands out. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
What a wonderful unexpected find. My wife and I visited during our honeymoon in Charleston. It was recommended by a local, and those recommendations have never failed me. They didn't this time. We made reservations, and we did notify them it was our honeymoon when they asked about special occasions. We were greeted with warm smiles and a complimentary round of champagne. Came here with the wife for brunch on the weekend after getting a gift card to come here. Sat down immediately and sat near the window overlooking for marsh and water. My wife and I both had delicious food and she ordered a very nice looking mock tail, (shown in the picture). The server was very friendly and she was from the New England area, just like myself, so we had plenty to talk about. I will definitely be going back for another great brunch! The fantastic food combined with the view of Shem Creek made for an unforgettable experience. The smoked trout dip appetizer was delightful, and the spider sushi roll (with soft-shell crab) was outstanding. Both entrees—the shrimp and grits and the braised short rib skillet—were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning to try their brunch menu!
Hands down the best restaurant in Mt. Pleasant and the best views on Shem Creek. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! They have plenty of gluten-free options, including the cauliflower wings, which were delicious! The Sushi is fresh and hit the spot after spending the day in Charleston. This place keeps getting better and better every time we go!
Went here for the first time for brunch with a few friends and it was great! I loved the views of the water and we had a great warm spot on the porch. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich with a bowl of fruit and fries and it was really good. I?d be interested in eating here for dinner too! Even as a part of brunch the sushi menu was available as well
First time here. It was awesome. Service was on point, any seat on the roof top has a great view. I had the BBQ omelet and OMG was it good. It was an amazing spot. Beautiful views of the river on the rooftop. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. Huge portions and really good drinks. The prices were very good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
