Always the most enjoyable part of my day stopping at Millie 's, even if it 's just for a minute. Beyond the delicious island style drinks seafood, there is something in the air at Millie 's that makes you want to stay. I don 't have kids although this restaurant would make me want to move to the neighborhood if I did. It 's the type of place you would let your 8th grader walk to at noon and wouldn 't worry at all if they weren 't home by dinner bc you knew they were safe! Also a great spot for 30 somethings to gather on week nights. I can see this being a killer spot for a reunion. Charming place in NW DC out on Mass Avenue. Cute Decor with a Nantucket vibe. Nice menu with enough to be interesting but allows for consistency and deliciousness. I will be back. Reservations at dinner would be nice.
Not often do you find the holy trinity in the DC area...good food, good service and good atmosphere BUT we did today at Millie's Spring Valley!! YUM! Tuna poke, guacamole, tacos, lobster quesadilla ...margaritas!!
The food was incredible! Even with a very full house the service was prompt. Waitstaff was very welcoming and efficient. Too full now for the lengthy ice cream menu but we'll be coming back!

Service and food are on point! My fave is the tuna poke, scallops with asparagus, and lemonade and vodka to wash it down! Excellent addition to the neighborhood!
The chips with guacamole make for a fantastic start. The 40th Pole is the perfect entree! It arrives hot and ready to east everytime!

The chicken was only Ok, not very flavorful. My friend loved her salmon. The salads fresh as always, the proteins well cooked.
Food was great. Great place for entire family. Kids of all ages will enjoy! Staff is 'kid ' friendly.
