The service was outstanding! We arrived for dinner around 6 PM, and everything was served quickly. The quarter steaks weren’t cooked to perfection, and I found the combination of steak with mashed potatoes a bit odd, especially with no vegetables on the plate. However, the mashed potatoes had a flavor reminiscent of mac and cheese, so if you enjoy that, you might like it. The steak was definitely of good quality. The mojito was nice but not particularly memorable. The burnt ends were fantastic, though I wish they had been a little more charred or caramelized. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with a classic pub/bar atmosphere.
My colleagues and I visit Milltown a few times a month to sample the new menu items and drinks. The service is consistently excellent. We always enjoy our favorite appetizers and dishes, often sharing plates to try a variety. It's a fantastic spot for those traveling to or from the airport, with a beautiful view of the river. The availability of ample free parking is a great bonus! A big thank you to Scott and Paddy for their warm hospitality!
After enjoying some delicious burgers and drinks, we decided to try the chicken wings, which unfortunately turned out to be undercooked and pink. When we brought this to the attention of the manager, they were too occupied with bartending to address our concerns. The kitchen staff claimed it was just a vein, but we were still worried. I also emailed the restaurant but haven't received a response yet.
We've been coming here regularly since the restaurant opened, as we have a boat in the marina. The staff and service are outstanding, thanks to the owners, Paddy and Scott. The food is always fantastic. We love bringing our guests from the boat to enjoy the experience, and they rave about it too. It's also a favorite spot among the locals. A heartfelt thank you to everyone there!
