As far as sports bars go, Richmond has needed a place like this! You have a great view of several TVs from any seat and definitely won't miss the action on any sporting event that you're there to see.With respect to the beer selection, it's disappointing. We live in a city with tons of great craft beer options. It would have been nice to see more of them on the menu. On the plus side, they have several options in terms of the size of the beer that you would like. Foodwise, the wings and pizza are good, albeit expensive unless you go when there's a special. My wife and I stopped in for a late night supper. The service was impeccable from the hostess to the server. Even the assistant manager stopped at our table to thank us for our patronage. We ordered the steak sandwich with fries and the clubhouse wrap with poutine. I was expecting a typical pub steak. Instead I got a steak that was seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. Better than most $30 a plate steakhouses. The wrap and poutine were good. The poutine, although not traditional was flavorful. We will definitely make a point of stopping by again. This place sets the bar for how customer service should be. Well done. Please open some locations on vancouver island.
This is my first time to try this place out. We were a group of 8 people. The server was very friendly and she comes around every so often to check on us. The food was good but the portion was small & pricey. When we got our bill, we noticed that we were charged 1 extra beer. We informed the server & she came back with the Manager. He told us that they didn't make the mistake. It was implied that we made the mistake. The Manager was quite rude to us. After he said that they don't make mistakes, he just left. The server was very apologetic but we told her it's not her fault, it's the Manager's. At the end of it, we paid the full amount of $245.00 with the extra beer.
The Canadian Brewhouse has an excellent selection of beer and arguably now the best sports bar in Richmond. They have lots of great seating, plenty of room at the bar and a large number of big screen TV's - which make watching a sporting event enjoyable. The staff are very good (Stephanie) and I love their 3 button Prompt Service device.Sadly their food is below standard......for all of the money they spent on the interior they should have saved a bit for quality pub food. I've been here everyday this week but Monday.... Great specials good vibes great service and well I just love it. They got a button to call your server but they usually are pretty good at just coming around. And always friendly and know what's what. Food and drink specials are always excellent and I always get the beer special which is a 22oz giant beer. Who doesn't love a giant beer? Oh and did I mention the poutine menu? Or the 25plus wing flavours or even the 6 patty burger challenge? Also one time, I got a Ceasar Drink and it had a burger on it. Anyways gotta go, my next giant beer just got here....
Finally a great Sports Bar & Grill in Richmond. Lots of tv's surpassed my expectations in this area. They have an outside Patio which is great . Staff super friendly Sean Asst. General manager was super nice as well he took my reservation over the phone put us right up front . Stanley Cup game night was amaz ing place pack and service kept up to the pace . Food was great . Back soon !
Went in for a father's day special treat. Free appie for the dad. Super service. All the dishes tasted great. Lots of screens but found they were a distraction to the conversations. A huge selection on the menu and so many varieties of drinks. Probably the best beer selection in Richmond. Great place to go.
A new brew pub in the Kmart Mall. The service is great and they are around when needed. The beer on tap selection is awesome, lots of choices! The menu is very large and lots to offer. Great place to watch sports with lots of screens. Stephanie was our server and she was awesome. And the beer and food choices are great. And you get a little electronic remote to beckon your server to order another round or get your bill!
