This was our first visit to Milo’s and we will definitely be back. We arrived about 11:30 on a Tuesday and ordered from their brunch menu. Our server (thanks, Jessica — you were terrific! suggested the Wrecking Ball sandwich, and it sounded so good both of us ordered it. It has Sweet tea brined fried chicken bacon cheddar cream gravy on a biscuit, served with cubed breakfast potatoes. It was fabulous! I am a big fan of biscuits, so I ordered a couple (2/$5 and they were also delicious.The building itself is bright, open, and airy without feeling sterile or industrial, and covered outdoor seating is also available.I would love to try their dinner menu, but I will have to drive from Austin to...
Such a great vibe walking in the door. The amazing smell of the food hits you right away. All of the plants and open space with natural light is so inviting.We started with appetizers and they were ah-mazing! Pimento cheese, Brussels sprouts and crab hush puppies. All were phenomenal. I had the short ribs. The entire size is not huge, so you may want to order a side if you are hungry. But it just melted in my mouth it was so tender. Highly recommend!The drinks were fab also. Loved my honey mule. We did share dessert- it was key lime pie. Best I've ever had. Eat here. It is phenomenal. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable as well.
My husband and I were passing through Waco on a long road trip through Texas and decided to dine in for a rest. We were taken care of by Baylor who was absolutely wonderful and made sure as first time diners, we got full knowledge and understanding of where and what we were dining. And the his recommendations of the food and drinks were absolutely amazing as well! Definitely will make Milo a regular dining spot when we are passing through.
Everything about this restaurant was amazing! We visited Waco for a short getaway and immediately felt at home here. We dined at Milo's twice during our stay and sampled several items from the menu, including cocktails. Everything we tried was excellent! The staff was fantastic, including the managers, waitstaff, and bartenders; we connected with so many wonderful people in just a short time. This place is a must-visit!

I had a reservation for 12:00PM but got there early (11:15AM) and they were able to seat us right away! Also the food was SO YUM- we had the wrecking ball, the hot chicken sando, and the biscuit bread pudding french toast w/ strawberries n cream. both the wrecking ball and the bread pudding french toast were to dieee forrrr.Food: 5/5
Been a couple of times and each time I'm impressed by the quality of food, the service, and the overall vibe of Milo. The food is fresh and seasonal which I like and tastes incredible. I've never left without feeling impressed and satisfied. I've never had a bad experience at Milo. Will be back.
I drove up from Austin for a family day and chose Milo's for Sunday lunch. However, their business hours are misleading. If they close at 2:30, that should be the time they stop serving, not close early and rush customers out before the advertised closing time.
**Vegetarian Options:** There are plenty of vegetarian dishes available!
**Kid-Friendliness:** While the variety might be limited, kids definitely won't go hungry.

Service was great and so was their food i chose the place because it looked nice inside without high expectations of the food. Glad the food matched its ambiance
The food is fantastic! Especially the Corn Ribs and service along with atmosphere you couldn't ask for more. Give this Gem a try!
