We have been going to Mindy’s for over 25 years when it was in Orland. We ordered food Sunday, April 7th for my dad and his wife. I was shocked by what we were served. I have ordered the Greek salad countless times this time it had no olives, no peppers and the tiniest bit of feta cheese. I would expect much more for the price than lettuce tomato’s and tons of onions. I also ordered a gyro meal I the sandwich was shaved gyro meat again in all my years I have always received slices of gyro, never in my life have I seen gyro meat like this. We have become increasingly disappointed over the past several years with the food and service. This last time, we ordered 3 slabs of ribs with sauce on the side. When my husband picked up the order, Saturday 4/20, he received one small brown bag. He asked about the sauce and was told, It 's in the bag. When he returned home with the order, I was amazed at its small size. When I set it out to serve my guests, I asked, Where is the sauce... didn 't you ask for it on the side for health reasons for some guests)? My husband said, She said, 'It 's in the bag '. Bought a crispy chicken warp for my daughter as she was eating it she found a balck hair in it wrapped around the chicken..I took it back up to the counter and the 2 young ladies that were working laughed as I handed the wrap back to them...the Manager who did NOT even show that she cared just asked did she want another one or something else...did not even ask if we wanted our money back. So we got another one and left. I thought that the cooks are supposed to wear hair nets?!? None of them had them on...maybe the health dept. Needs to make a visit.
I don't think I enjoyed this meal very much. It's a not as good portillos in my opinion. We got over charged. Asked to upgrade my meal to cheese fries and got an additional fries with cheese and then asked for just a hot dog and got fries with it as well. The fries are not good quality, same fries you would get at a cheap diner. Bread chicken was so thin so was like I was eating just the bun. Very underwhelming. I drive by here often but decided to stop by last night. The food was not that good. Ordered a ribeye steak sandwich with nothing other than bread because a good steak needs nothing else. I'm not even sure what they gave me was a ribeye. It's the only thing I had besides the fries which were cold. So I can't speak on anything else. But I definitely would not order a ribeye steak sandwich from them again. I took a couple bites and threw the rest of it in the garbage.
We just tried Mindy's Ribs for the first time. We had them delivered since we had a very busy day. We had the ribs and chicken. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. So very good. Everything was great from the very good ribs and chicken to the perfectly done baked potato, fries and the excellent corn. Plus the cornbread and garlic bread was also excellent. The delivery was PERFECT. It was a great meal and excellent service. Well done.
Very disappointed because I ordered food and when it was delivered the drinks and milkshakes were missing. Then I went to eat my sandwich and no turkey or mayo was put on my sandwich. They also gave me broth soup when I ordered cream. There was too much wrong with the order that I am considering not ordering from here again.
Went there for the boneless rib sandwiches and they were not fresh. They were over cooked, dry and we just could not eat them as we threw them out. We never had a issue with the food before. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Got the Tuesday chicken special. Chicken was dryer then dry, even with a gallon of bbq sauce on it. Jewels got better chicken.
