We went here last night for the first time and it was excellent! Our server Carly could not have been nicer or more attentive. She was a pleasure and made some great recommendations as well. The food and drinks were awesome. It was close to a perfectexperience that could have only been better had we not FORGOTTEN TO GIVE HER OUR CREDIT CARD when we paid the check!! ??????? Wepromise not to accidentally dine and dash next time. Definitely recommend this restaurant and of course, ask for Carly as yourserver!
I really enjoy the food and atmosphere here. Our server was very friendly and made our evening very delightful and smooth. Our food came out quickly and we were able to enjoy all the different dishes. The mahi mahi tacos were our favorite. At this restaurant dont expect to buy an entree and eat just that. Each dish is meant to share and pass around to friends and share all the great foods and flavors. You will want to make a reservation ahead of time. Try something new and enjoy your food with friends!
I met some clients there by chance as Jamesons Pub was closed for the day and was not disappointed. Stephanie our server was so friendly and helped us through the menu. The entire staff was attentive and we were never without water. When the food came out it was awesome. We shared 7 things between the four of us and one was better than the other. The atmosphere is super clean and modern. The dinner menu looked amazing as well. Plenty of parking onsite. Highly recommend a visit.
Very interesting food choices, good drinks. Table was really sticky and we sat in the basement which was a little cold and felt isolated. Creme brulee was overcooked and watery. We had really high expectations but the food fell a little short. Staff was really nice and helpful. Seems like it would be a great place for large group. They need to figure out sticky tables, made the dinner very uncomfortable. It's expensive and I feel they should be held to a higher standard. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
First time our family of 4 had a fantastic time. Our server Destiny did a fabulous job with a packed house on Sat night. Loved the cocktails, appetizers, on to many tapas, then dessert!!! The entire event was a true success!!! The professionalism of the staffing was exceptional!! Overall the best experience I have ever had in Illinois. Thank all for such a great evening
First time dining at Dancing Marlin, and first time trying tapas style. Our server Carly was amazing. Very attentive and explained everything wonderfully. Tuna Poke was the star of of the evening, Coconut shrimp and shrimp chorizo tacos were delicious. Definitely will come back!
Greeted enthusiastically by the host and seated Rudy at scheduled reservation. Waitress fair. General Tao cauliflower was the high point of the meal. Soft shell crabs in season but it was fairly tasteless and the breading was too thick. Oysters were onpoint.
