Mineshaft Tavern - Tisch resevieren

Great place for Thursday night burgers special at your freindly neighborhood pub. We were staying at the Windtower and were looking for a place close by for dinner. On our walk to downtown we stumbled upon the Mineshaft. The place was pleasantly quite and there was no wait we were seated right away. Service was top notch and quick!. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and awesome background music. We were blown away by the quality. The burgers hit the spot the bacon was crispy, lettuce and tomato were fresh and the cheese was cheesy. Ordered take out while staying in Spring Creek vacation condo. across the street. Great food and take out service. We had the fish and chips and they were crisp and tasty...worthy of being wrapped in newspaper British style! Very Good. We noticed that their was live music when we picked up our food...wish we had ate in. Lots of great beer on tap as well and salt of the earth staff! Just go!

Calling this a tavern is false advertising, it’s a small, bland group of tables in a seniors centre. Would absolutely not recommend for any sort of hospitable experience, unless you want to be grumbled at for holding the door open (to walk through it) and being condescended to when asking for service. Walked out, didn’t bother.

Surpisingly good and cheap food.Ordered pound of wings for $5 and Grizzly Paw beer also for $5.It is a loud and busy place with modest but nice decor with a lot of old Kernick family pictures from back in a days when Kerniks were nice and humble people.Our waitress was a bit weird, she wore a face mask but under her chin. Food was good and fairly priced, for Canada. Service was fast and friendly. Tip for the manager though, don't sit at the bar and complain about staff and lack of profit margins. Unprofessional. That said, it's worth checking out if you're in Canmore.

Sat at the bar for five minutes and barman seemed more interested in talking to a customer sat at the bar. Didn't even acknowledge us despite being only other customers at the bar. Thanked him for rubbish service and walked out. Very disappointed.

Best burger in the world! We spent 4 days on Canmore/Banff. We cancelled our restaurants bookings to eat here!!!! I recommand the Mineshaft Burger.Thank you Mineshaft Tavern, we'll miss you. We need you in Montreal!

Great value for the food! Very friendly staff and pleasant environment. Daily specials are a great deal and everything tastes homemade. Overall great experience
