I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic—we enjoyed satay prawns, garlic prawns, and I believe we had Peking duck as well. The highlight of this place is undoubtedly the food. The portions were generous, the sauces were amazing, and I'm definitely planning to return for the steamed rice. I did see some mixed reviews beforehand and felt a bit hesitant, but I've realized that sometimes the most important opinion is your own. Tucked away in Sandy Bay, this restaurant has an authentic, old-fashioned charm (and I mean that in a positive way! Not everything has to be ultra-modern). We had a wonderful time. The food is as authentic as it gets! Kudos to the Ming Court Restaurant staff who are extremely diligent and attentive. This is our third time here and never fails yo leave us wanting more after we have gone home. We ate too quickly and never got around to take any photos! When the table becomes quiet with everyone savouring every mouthful, you know the food is great! We will be back!
Great food at reasonable prices with plentiful servings. Four stars because while the mains were delicious the entrees of juicy buns and the dumplings lacked flavour. The duck with plum sauce was fantastic as was the satay and sweet and sour pork. Will be back. The staff were really responsive and we couldn't fault their service. Decor is standard Chinese but all looks lovely and clean and is pleasant.
Have never had an order from here that hasn't been of a high standard. I order from here regularly. Was actually a little upset with their recent closures as I couldn't order my usual but understand that covid has had an effect on a lot of businesses. Cannot fault their food. Had special fried rice takeaway from hear, was a good meal plenty of vegetables and meat and great value for money made two meals from one . Owners where friendly enough and food was fairly quick prepared. Three dish sizes to choice from .
Amazing service . Had an order mix up tonight with Uber canceling the order . About 90 mins later the owner came to house with the order freshly cooked. Can never fault them
