This charming restaurant is located in the prime location of Sheppey. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly. They offer fantastic vegan options, including vegan mayonnaise and butter. The coffee is also deliciously strong. It's a refreshing change to have high-quality food options on the island. The potato leek soup and spinach tomato avocado sandwich were both delightful. It would be great to see some tofu or tempeh dishes on the menu in the future.
Wow! This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is great and the service is fantastic. Unlike other overpriced cafes, the food here is high quality and the prices are very competitive. This has become my go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, and delicious homemade cakes, especially the cheesecakes. The place is extremely clean and the staff are always willing to go the extra mile. We will definitely be coming back.
very nice restaurant in the best against sheppey. super friendly owner and personal. large vegan options and there are vegan mayonnaise and butter available. so nice to have a few high quality foods available on the island. the kartoffel lauch suppe and spinat tomaten avocado sandwich were both awesome. in the future it might be nice to see some tofu/tempeh etc on the menu.
I have dined at this restaurant twice now and both times thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The food is delicious and the service is exceptionally friendly. It is a hidden gem on the island and I am excited to visit again. On Valentine's Day, I returned and was pleasantly surprised with a special vegan lasagna that was possibly the best I have ever had! Very 'out the way '. Food was lovely staff couldn 't do enough for us. BUT, it feels more like a working man 's café the a place to eat cream teas. The view from the window was of the pubs Blue bins barrels. I would suggest using the Window Fablon to prevent customers having to see them.I would return as their breakfasts sound amazing!
I have eaten twice here and both time really enjoyed my meal. eating is delicious and service is super friendly. a small hidden gem on the island. look forward to going back. sat again for Valentine's Day and treated with a special vegan lasagne was probably the best I ever had!
Another great meal at this hidden gem mushroom stroganoff. I called in before going to the artisan market, lantern parade and fireworks at Queenborough Harbour
