Mints Honey in San Carlos was a cute place to meet up with friends for a light lunch and coffee and tea. The ambiance has that kitschy, but charming homey vibe lots of indoor tables and a small outdoor patio with a few tables. The tables have little signs asking patrons to limit their seating time to 1 hour. Street parking was a bit tricky on a Saturday afternoon. One of us braved the hotel only parking in the back. There is a Trader Joe 's about a block away with a parking lot. You order first and get a number and your silver wear to take to your table. Other than getting your food brought to you, there 's really no wait service. The staff were nice and friendly, but got my husband 's drink...
This charming little cafe is perfect for a quick meal. The interior is delightful, and all the dishes we tried were both beautiful and delicious. The service was impressively fast as well; our food arrived within 5-10 minutes of ordering. If you're unsure about what drink to choose, I highly recommend the hibiscus mints lemonade – it was absolutely fantastic! My only minor criticism is that the soup could have been served a bit warmer, but overall, it was a great experience.
Give people what they want: a cute, hip, modern coffee shop with plenty of space and safe avocado toast. I picked up a lunch here and made a job and it was nice. The drink I got was really delicious, but who knows they might have loaded him with sugar. The avocado toast with the eggs and mint just fed into my base page. It's just the most basic Cali-Ding ever LOL. Food: 7/10 Service: 6/10 Vibes: 8/10 Value: 6/10
This is a very cute spot for breakfast or lunch! We ordered the seasonal creme brulee latte which was alright, and the cherry blossom with coconut milk which was fantastic. We also had the tea tower to split between the two of us- it was the perfect amount of food for 2 people and a great way to try a lot of menu items! The ricotta and tomato toast and the chicken curry toast were standouts.

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Thursday and went back again on Friday. It’s a nice, laid-back spot to enjoy some toast and coffee. The staff is mostly friendly, and the vibe is really relaxed. If you park out front, just go all the way to the back. You might think you’re heading to the restroom, but that’s actually where the main area is. Don’t forget to bring cash for tips!
The atmosphere at Mints Honey is wonderfully nostalgic, evoking the charm of a 1960s kitchen. With its retro fridge and the tiled areas near the register, I could easily picture elegant ladies enjoying their meals in stylish suit dresses, complete with pearls and aqua net bouffants. The designer truly captured the essence of that era. Cheers to the 60s!
Nice outdoor space but basically in an alley with light traffic. Great on a sunny day. Great indoor space for kids. Probably the best brunch spot and cafe in San Carlos. Interesting coffee options and high quality food make up the menu.Vegetarian options: High quality egg and fresh fruit options. Excellent if you're looking for waffles.
Omg.. what a cute spot! Staff was very nice. They have some really tasty brunch type vittles. Boba tea ? I know it kinda looks like a hot mess, but it was SO damn good! Four different kinds of toast four different kinds of waffle. Will be going back for sure.

Tea Tower offers an abundant selection of food! However, the samplers are definitely the highlight.
