It is evident that Mio Sogno in Oneonta, AL has undergone changes in ownership and/or staff. Unfortunately, my wife and I had a very disappointing experience with the food and service during our recent visit. The salad was not made correctly and the Filet Mignon was overcooked, despite our order for medium doneness. The steaks were tough and inedible. When I asked for the owner's contact information, the waitress refused to provide it. It seems that either she did not want me to have it or the owner did not want me to have it. Either way, we will no longer be returning to this restaurant until there are new owners in place.
This restaurant is a charming spot with excellent service and a visually appealing interior design. The pasta we ordered was tasty and satisfying, although it didn't stand out from similar dishes at other restaurants. Despite this, I would still dine here again if I were in the vicinity. The only downside was the uncomfortable warmth in the dining area, as the ambient temperature felt like it was around 78 degrees.
The food at this restaurant is usually very good, but I was not a fan of their lasagna, even though I usually love lasagna. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. The recommended dishes include Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, Steak Sandwich, Cheese Tortellini with Tomato Basil Sauce and Shrimp, Mozzarella Sticks, and Ravioli. The average price per person for a dinner meal is between $10 and $20.
Wonderful dining experience! We had a large group of about 10. We were seated quickly. Drinks were served and orders taken. Food was excellent and was served surprisingly quick considering the size of our group. I will definitely visit again soon. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is one of the unknown gems of the Birmingham area. We drive 20 miles from Pinson to get there and we encourage people from further to go. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
