Such a shame that after visiting this resturant over the weekend with friends that we will never dine or recommend anyone to dine here again. The service we received from the moment we arrived was appalling and even though the food was nice the extremely poor service outdid the food. We had made a booking early in the week and during this time we were told there is no BYO on weekends. After being seated we sat at our table we received no additional attention until we attended the counter 35 minutes later to ask if we could at least order some drinks. Considering we needed to ask we hoped the service would improve from here. Unfortunately we were wrong! We were required to ask again to order...
Great flavours in the food, soft shell crab could be bigger for a 'shared'. Unfortunately the night we visited the service was very slow, 30mins before we were able to order drinks, waitress could be seen socialising with friends. We had reserved a table (recommended as it is small), seated in front of the bar near the cash register my friend kept getting knocked around by customers paying, had bags etc. We asked to be reseated once we saw an alternative table become free. The table was on a serious slant (got used to it as it was the flooring).
It is difficult to describe how good the food at this place is. Brilliant, unbelievable, incredible, amazing. It's all that and more. We had the Salt and Pepper Squid. It just melted in your mouth. Chicken Sate. Juicy chicken in the most amazing sate sauce. Fried Tofu. If you like Tofu you'll love this Tofu. And best of all the Mussels. Wow!!! We ordered half a kilo. Next time I'll get a kilo for myself. The sauce is to die for. Miss Potz is definitely one of the best restaurants I have been to. I'll be back!!!
We went here on Saturday night and the place was packed! The staff were so friendly and efficient. Drinks came out super quick and we ordered and could not wait for the food as all the dishes coming put looked amazing!We were not disappointed - the salt and pepper squid was the best i have ever had and the red curry wow!!!! We greatly enjoyed our meal in Miss Potz - the menu is rather small, ton of entrees, but only a very few mains. Be careful with the spicy stuff, it is really spicy, you've been warned.The food is very delicious and tasty, especially the fish curry tasted extremely well, but even the other entrees and mains we had were very tasty. The service could have been a bit better given it wasn't so packed, but overall it was OK.Definitely a place to visit in Perth
Fantastic food, and hospitality. If you have travelled to Thailand or Vietnam this restaurant takes you back... only two chefs, and one lady working the floor, and they all did a fantastic job. Highly recommend this groovy little place. At 7:30pm all tables in and out where, and it was a weeknight... fantastic value for money
Very cute and romantic little place to eat wonderfully fresh and tasty food. I loved the flavours and the modern twist on traditional Malaysian foods.
