I took a short bite at the Del Mar loop. Some friends from the area recommended to try Mission Taco Joint while I was in town. I sat at the bar and ordered 2 tacos, salad and pommes. Service was friendly and prompt. The servers and bar employees worked cohesively to take care of everyone, and they seemed to have a good time with it. The energy was good, the food tasted great, and it was super cheap. My tab was under $20 before tip and it was a ton of food. The food quality was also good. Would definitely recommend.
I visited this place a lot in the past. They used to have happy hour after ten which two dollar taco, now they do not have this deal anymore, which is probably why this place was not as busy on weekend night as it was in the past. We ordered tacos including my favorite Mango-Hop-Anero Shrimp tacos, Guacamole chips, Carne Asada Fries, and Beef Birria. The food were great. The service was decent. The waitress took our orders and did check on us one time.
Holy hell. These are good tacos. I had the fish taco and the shrimp tacos and BODY (that means really good). I would have their street corn as my death row meal. We got the tri dips and their salsa...WOW. Amazing. Bean dip also slaps. Place was clean with cool artwork on the walls. Staff were nice and service was quick. If you like tacos, you should go here. I went to this restaurant with two friends and we couldn't decide what to order, so we ended up getting one of each taco on the menu. It turned out to be the perfect choice! I've been here so many times but never reviewed it! This place is a must visit if you're in the loop area. Their two options are amazing and they have a different taco every month. Their appetizer menu is the BEST! Their homemade tortilla chips are amazing and the salsa is unmatched. Great spot for all the taco lovers out there!
The food was good, but the taco dishes are quickly soft. More than 50 for 4 tacos, guac and queso and 2 drinks is for my budget for 2 people. But we got flowers from a friendly homeless for any change we had, so that was sweet.

I got the barbecue chicken tacos. The chicken inside was very. The barbecue sauce with the the pickled onion on top just made it have a better taste. They are a good taco.
