Great sushi, reasonable prices, fresh fish. Mizuno has been one of our go-tos since moving to Merrick. We typically order a couple of specialty rolls and then round out our meal with the three roll special (pick any three, plus miso soup salad all for $15). Most of the kitchen appetizers are good too if you're looking for a few land based selections, but I found the sushi appetizers a little small for the price. For example, the salmon chalaca consists of four bite sized morsels of salmon tuna wrapped around fresh mango slices...for $12. For that price, I'd rather snag another specialty roll or something more substantial from the kitchen. After some trial and error, we have a pretty generous...
On Valentine's Day my husband and I ordered from mizuno through seamless. The restaurant was swamped and our order took an hour and a half longer than it was supposed to. We were frustrated but also understood. The hostess wound up hand delivering our food because she felt bad for the delay and we really appreciated it! A week later we got a gift card in the mail from mizuno apologizing for the inconvenience on Valentine's Day. It was so nice of them. Great way to show your customers that you appreciate them! And as always, the food was delicious.
Looooooooooove! I'll be honest I was kind of skeptical ordering hibachi to go, but this honestly was so good and juicy! I was afraid it would be dry and not as good as in person hibachi, but it def tasted as if i was sitting right there. They gave such a great portion of chicken, vegetables, and rice. The sushi was amazing, i got a special roll (Jenny roll) and it was delicious! I want to order now as i write this review haha
I really enjoy Mizuno for some really fresh delicious sushi. I often take out from this restaurant for quick and easy dinners and they never disappoint. They're spicy salmon roll is fantastic. And their shrimp tempura is really crispy and yummy! Definitely one of the best sushi spots around wantagh.

We recently dined at Mizuno and were let down. The staff was friendly and the service was good, but the food was not to our liking. The bento box we ordered was average, but the scallops we ordered were tough, possibly overcooked. We called to express our disappointment.
I order delivery from here at least once a week at work and they never disappoint. Consistently delicious, fresh and on time. Have basically tried all of their special rolls at this point and can't say enough about how god they all are!
I regularly order from this restaurant. The sushi is tasty and always fresh. I highly recommend the bento boxes as they offer great value for the price. The miso soup is delicious, and don't forget to try the salmon.
Excellent sushi! Very tasty and so fresh. The quality here is excellent. There are so many sushi restaurants on Long Island and Mizuno is one of the best!
