I came in yesterday for a cuppa with my best friend that I haven’t seen in years due to we finally decided that enough was enough and met up. I’ve never been to a lounges before, and Modelo lounge has been round the corner...for years. I definitely don’t regret coming in. The atmosphere was so inviting and your staff were **** brilliant. So attentive and really cared for me as an individual. I asked for the manager to the young man who had been serving us, and it turns out I had been already speaking to him. Having a manager (Rob I think on the floor holding a real conversation really made me feel valued and he provided a personal service whilst ensuring that others were being cared for also...
We visited for a late lunch and had a fantastic meal. We were blown away by the huge choice for vegetarians and vegans- an entire vegan menu was available, not just a couple of dishes. We chose tapas and weren't disappointed, the food excellent. Of...particular note was the superb service by the young gents working on that day. They were friendly, efficient and professional. We sat by the big open windows at the front and a man walked by outside, shouting. He appeared drunk and wanted to shout at random people. Went to modelo lounge today for lunch with my mother in law. Upon entering we were told we couldn't sit at any of the empty tables at the front by the windows due to the tables being rejigged. We were subsequently sat somewhere else. After...ordering food, I turned to see that all the lovely tables by the window had not been rejigged and were full of people. Myself and my mother in law ordered the medditeranean salad, which was hummus, falafel, butternut squash, red pepper, cherry Tom's etc. Both salads were drowning in so much balsamic vinegar that the lettuce leaves were soggy and tasted of not much else. Booked a table, staff were friendly and bubbly. Asked about any special dietary requirements and offered a vegetarian menu immediately which was greatly appreciated. Lovely atmosphere and good music which wasn't too loud which allowed for conversations. Staff were attentive removing finished cups and dishes...and there were also a range of activities available such as games, making this suitable for fun loving adults in the evening or families in the afternoon. First time at Modelo Lounge at Hove, and the meal was absolutely lovely. I had Bang Bang Chicken, my wife had Salmon Salad and our children had burgers each. All of the dishes were served quickly and exactly as we ordered Being Monday we delicious puddings free of charge, and wow, they were lovely too. Overall a lovely night out and the staff were brilliant. Thoroughly recommend, we’ll be back.
It was so cosy and the Christmas decorations made it extra special. My partner and I had a superb night out, the lady Jennifer and man called Zac were great and their Christmas outfits made it more special. Crazy Christmas tie was brilliant. loved it....Food good too. We’ll be back.
We discover Modelo recently and loved the place so much that we decided to host our wedding celebration there! It was perfect! Food, drinks but above all, the staff was really nice and helpful! Thanks for being part of such important ocassion for us and...make it so nice!
Friendly staff, great food in an airy and cool atmosphere. Felt very comfortable and relaxed. Their cappuccino is very good. Toilets are very clean too!
