We loved our food! Decided to make it a tapas evening and sampled 4 fabulous small plates in lieu of a full entree. Our server, Amy, was meticulous. Not too over attentive, yet always available if need be. In our past visits, we remember a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a very loud part of 8. One gentleman in particular needed to recount various tales with high volume and riddled with profanity. Now, I 've been known to swear like a sailor, but NOT in a restaurant. It will certainly not prevent us from visiting again.
Bartender Dan was friendly and made us some great cocktails. He even provided some recommendations for our dinner. Our server, Mark was absolutely amazing with his knowledge of the drink and food menus, also made some great recommendations and provided exceptional service. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every course. We were celebrating with our parents and had an incredible evening from start to finish. Thanks to everyone at Montarra for making this occasion truly special!
Can 't say enough good things. My family 's go to that keeps us coming back each family event we choose to dine out. Thoughtful, flavorful and exquisite meals with a high standard of personal service. Great, conformable atmosphere. A taste and experience of a high end Mag Mile Chicago five star restaurant in our area!
We joined a few folks for a team dinner here. It was elegant and very well done. Service was professional. I tried the lamb pops, filets and stuff mushroom appetizers. Highly recommend the mushrooms and lamb. My dinner was the scallops. They were perfect, and the bed of risotto (I believe) was delish. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Went there last Thursday night, June 27 about 8 PM. The food was horrendous would never go back. And this was one of our go to places. Don’t know if they got a new chef or it was later in the evening closer to closing time. I had better food at Longhorn or outback steakhouse and cheaper price.
The food was good, and the service was great. There were a lot of staff that it was difficult to tell who our server was. Would come again.
As always, the food and service was stellar; the noise level was exceptionally loud. Still a favorite spot though.
