I visited Monteverdi for a friend's birthday dinner with a group of six. The food was excellent, and our dishes were served promptly. The runner and busboy were attentive, but our server was noticeably absent. It took 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive after ordering, and they came after our appetizers. The server never checked in on us for refills, so we had to ask the busboy to find her. This was about an hour after we were seated.
