They serve a really great breakfast here, as well as very good coffee. Inside there are two seating areas, the one on the left doubles as a shop, tourist information and games hall. It's a bit louder there. Staff is very reserved, not unfriendly, but you don't feel welcome either. But with the delicious food that is bearable. We stumbled across the cafe on a wet and cold Sunday afternoon, the high street was empty, nothing was open. There was only one or two tables left, we were welcomed by the young waitress who gave us the menu. We were quickly seen too and ordered food with no problem from the large menu. The food arrived and was plentiful! Big portions and great quality. We shopped from their NC500 merchandise at the back of the cafe too. Would highly recommended and if we are back in Wick, we will pop in.
