There are so many delicious pastries that it’s hard to choose just one! I felt like I was in heaven at this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, and there are tables where you can sit and enjoy a coffee and pastry. We did just that, savoring a sweet treat while watching fresh trays of delights come out from the kitchen. They offer stunning cakes for any occasion, and we took home a wonderful selection of pastries. Every bite was blissful, and I’m just a bit sad because we finished them all! On my next visit to New York, I definitely need to come back here... the cannoli, biscotti, Easter bread... I could keep going, but writing this review is making me crave more!
I should have heeded the other reviews as a warning. VERY disappointing. Forget about the cold atmosphere and rude wait staff, let me tell you about the more important aspect the baked goods. I paid $5 for 4 cookies (ok fine, inflation whatever although this was the MOST I'd ever paid for Italian cookies). The biggest disappointment was that they were so old and stale! They crumbled into sand and the jelly was one solid hard piece. I mean.... How old are your cookies if they crumble literally in the bag and the jelly is rock hard. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND WONT EVER COME BACK.
This restaurant offers delightful Italian and classic pastries, cakes, cookies, and gelato, all at fairly reasonable prices (around $16 per pound). While there is limited seating available, they do accept card payments. They also have a great selection of coffees and teas. Our top picks were the Pasticotta (especially the amaretto/almond flavor), the Sfogliatella, and the chocolate mousse bunny. We will definitely be returning multiple times to sample more items from their menu.
I really enjoyed my tasty and decadent treats. The pineapple coconut cake was moist and delicious. I also had the strawberry shortcake and a cannoli. I would highly recommend this pastry shop to anyone looking for a delicious and fresh pastry. I will be ordering from this Cafe again soon for Valentines day. They wrapped the box beautifully as well. It was a very cute and classic presentation. I felt very special enjoying my treats. Please give them a try, you won't regret it.

Cakes and pastries also got cookies were excellent. Usually go to artusos but for some reason cashier kept getting nasty when we asked to get something special on my father in laws cake. We just ended up walking out. Found Marrone and were super delighted at service and accommodations to our requests . Will be going back when in the area. Thank you for your help and excellent service
Ive ordered the strawberry shortcake so many times already . I havent tried the other cakes so far because I still havent gotten tired of eating their strawberry shortcake. It is so delicious and always fresh. Will keep ordering more. Yum!
I ordered the 7-inch New York cheesecake with strawberry topping for my dad's 91st birthday, and everyone loved it. The texture was lighter than traditional cheesecake, but it was delicious.
The cheesecake was a bit too firm for my liking, and I wasn't a fan of the chunks in it (not sure what they were). It didn’t have much flavor. The crust was okay.
